Exquisite hats, dapper outfits, champagne, cigars, VIP Lounges, horses and attractive Vancouverites dressed to impress — I can’t think of a better way to spend a summer afternoon.
Last year I attended The Deighton Cup as a date, however, this year I was on assignment for CTV Vancouver covering the fabulous fashion this thoroughbred event attracts.
To say I was excited would be an understatement. All day I was scoping out the unique and classy styles the Deighton Cup brings.

What I Wore:
With work on my mind, I wanted to choose an outfit that was practical and, of course,’fitting’ for the event.
I was set with an outstanding fascinator sponsored by Entitled Hats and a simple BCBG cocktail dress styled with comfortable heels (yes, they do exist). The monochrome palette worked perfectly for the glamourous 6th Annual Deighton Cup.
